DRAMATIC IMPROVISATION. A scene without jokes.

Improvisation is often associated with comedy, quick jokes and punchlines. This time, we will explore what happens when we put humour aside and focus on emotions, relationships, the truth of the scene and fully immersing ourselves in the moment.

The idea is simple: we improvise dramatically. And what will come out of it? We’ll only discover that on stage. 😉 One thing is certain — we won’t use jokes as a safety net (although we’re definitely not giving up on a good laugh either 😉).

Who is it for?

This intensive workshop is designed for people who already know the basics of improvisation and want to take the next step — dive deeper into character work, scene partnership, storytelling and working with emotions. It is also a space for those who enjoy challenges and are ready to jump into the deep end.

During the workshop, we will explore questions such as:

How do you create an engaging scene without a script?

How do you build tension and a story in real time?

How do you trust yourself and your scene partner when you don’t know what will happen next?

Get ready for lots of practice, experimentation and discovering that improvisation has many more shades than just laughter.
